Interview for JANSZ X Jamin Collaboration

It’s no secret that we live and breathe Tasmania. From breathtaking landscapes and tranquil waters, to the beautiful communities of people that call our island state home. One of the things we are continually in awe of is the talent of our local creators.

Tassie is a unique place and the island is filled with people who create, for the sheer joy of making something as great as it can be. It’s one of the things that inspired Méthode Tasmanoise and one of the things that drives our desire to see our community continue to thrive in our beautiful part of the country for generations to come.

One such person is local artist, Jamin.

Jamin’s artwork Emerging Anew has been reimagined across our Premium Cuvée gift box and Premium Rosé label, and is inspired by Jamin’s deep love and interest in the complex and interwoven assemblage of nature. The piece illustrates flora and fauna found in our vineyards including the Flame Robin and native Hardenbergia.

Piecing it Together | 2020

An interview for COTA Tasmania for the second Piecing it Together intergenerational art project. The project brought younger and older people together to learn about, design, and create street art, and challenge stereotypes about being younger and becoming older.

Under the guidance of Tasmanian street artist and muralist, Jamin, our six older and five younger participants designed and created a beautiful piece of art at Eastlands, in the car park between Woolworths and the bus mall. Participants developed skills in different stenciling and spray painting techniques to create the piece with a shared vision about taking risks and stepping into the unknown to embrace change and possibility, much like a bird leaving the nest.
